Supreme Court order to continue Water Supply Project

ST. 010/2010/0032 May 18th, 2010 Subject : The Supreme Administrative Court has deliver its decision to continue the construction of Water Supply System Project according to the water shortage solving plans of Nakorn Ratchasima Municipal Attention : The President The Stock Exchange of Thailand Refer to Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited's letter no. ST. 010/2009/0046 dated November 3rd, 2009, on the subject about the Administrative Court of Nakorn Ratchasima's order to temporary suspending the construction of Water Supply System Project according to the water shortage solving plans of Nakorn Ratchasima Municipal. In this regard, Nakorn Ratchasima Municipal lodged an appeal against the court's order to the Supreme Administrative Court. The company is pleased to clarify that at the present the Supreme Administrative Court has deliver its order to amend the Administrative Court of Nakorn Ratchasima's order and allow Nakorn Ratchasima Municipal to continue the construction of the project except only for the part of work relating to raw water pumping station and related water pipe line in the area of Lumchae reservoir. This Part of work, according to the Supreme Administrative Court's order, shall temporary suspend until the court delivered other judgment or order. As the result of the Supreme Administrative Court's order, the company can now resume almost every portion of the project except for Lumchae reservoir's part of work which is only 5% of the contract's value (worth approximately Baht 110 mn.).
