Clarification of STEC's Financial Statement Q1/2010

To : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sirs, We, Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited, would like to provide the clarification on quarterly consolidated financial statement ending 31 March 2010 which showed net profit for equity holders of the parent company of Baht 81.73 million comparing to same period of the previous year net profit Baht 47.72 million which increased Baht 34.01 million equal to 71.28% due to the following reasons: 1. Gross profit margin of the company and subsidiaries was 8.43% which comparing to the to same period of the previous year was 3.81% as a result of most projects which have low gross profit margin are finished in the previous year. 2.
