Clarification of STEC FS Q1/05 (Adjust)

To : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sirs, We, Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited, would like to provide the clarification on our quarterly financial statement ended 31 March 2005. Net profit increased 66.69% from the same period of the previous year due to the following reasons: For the first quarter of 2005, the company's revenue from construction increased to Baht 1,861 million equal to 114.75%, which affected to gross margin increase to Baht 44.14 million. In addition, the increasing of company's revenue caused by not only a lot of new projects that received from public sectors but the increasing of gross profit margin of the said projects also.
