CLARIFICATION ABOUT REVENUES AND STATUS IN SBIA PROJECT

To : Director and President The Securities Exchange of Thailand According to the articles in website www.efinancethai.com on 23 April 2002 specifying that Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul, President of STECON, has revealed information about the Company net profit in Q1/2002and the status in the Second Bangkok Airport project. The Company would like to clarify as follow: 1) Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul has never given any interview regarding these matters. In the Company'sAnnual General Meeting of Shareholder which was held at 10.00 am. today, there was a reporter attended the meeting without identify herself to the Company. 2) During the meeting, Mr. Anutin was asked by the shareholders regarding the Company operating performance and then reported that with the Company's financial strength and capabilities the company should perform better than the previous years without mentioning any specific amount. 3) Regarding the airport project, Mr. Anutin informed that the Company has been contacted by ITO Joint Venture for steel structure work and we believe that there is a high possibility for the company to be awarded the project since the Company is very specialize in this type of work. However, Mr. Anutin has stated that it is in the negotiation process and not yet finalize. Please acknowledge and disclose to the public.
