REPORTS ON CD CONVERSION RESULT IN NOVEMBER

Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Plc. (STECON) reported on the conversion result between November 1 and 30, 1996 of its convertible debentures (CDs) saying that no CD holders convert their CDs into the company's common shares during the month. STECON previously, in a letter dated November 26, 1993, sought approval to offer its CDs, for which trustees of the holders were provided, to foreign investors.
