To : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sirs, We, Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited, would like to provide the clarificationon quarterly financial statement ended 30 September 2009 which showed net profit of equity holders of theparent Baht 76.39 million for the three-month period and Baht 166.85 million for the nine-month period comparing to the same periods of the previous year net profit of equity holders of the parent at Baht 44.26million and Baht 96.37 million respectively which showed the increase of net profit in the amount of Baht32.12 million equal to 72.58% for the three-month period and Baht 70.49 million equal to 73.14% for thenine- month period comparing to the same period of the previous year due to the following reasons: 1. The company and subsidiary companies's gross margin for the three-month period and nine-month period were 4.18% and 3.99% comparing to the same periods of the previous year were 3.73% and 3.44% respectively. 2. Financial cost decreased in the amount of Baht 21.94 million and Baht 57.86 million for the three- month period and nine-month period of the previous year . rd 3. For the 3 Quarter of 2009 the company recorded gain on sales of long-term investment in the amount of Baht 12.44 million. Please kindly be informed.
