Clarification of STEC's financial statement 31/3/08

To : President of the Stock Exchange of Thailand Dear Sirs, We, Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited, would like to provide the clarification on quarterly financial statement ended 31 March 2008 showed net profit of equity holders of the parent Baht 45.80 million comparing to same period of the previous year net profit at Baht 31.04 million which showed the increased of net profit in the amount of Baht 14.76 million equal to 47.56% comparing to the same period of the previous year due to the following reasons: The current quarter a subsidiary sold the investment in an associated company and recorded gain on sale of the investment of Baht 50.7million.
