Request for SP of the Company's securities trading

ST 010/2006/0009 Subject: Request for suspension of the Company's securities trading (SP) To Director and Manager The Stock Exchange of Thailand According to the resolution from the meeting of board of directors of Sino-Thai Engineering & Construction Public Company Limited no. 3/2005 held on April 7, 2005, regarding the private placement of newly issued shares to investor(s), which has been approved by the extraordinary shareholders' meeting no. 1/2005 held on May 31, 2005. The company is currently in the process of determining the private placement price via bookbuilding with international institutional investors in Europe and Asia, which may affect the Company's share price in the market. The company, therefore, would like to request for the trading suspension (SP) of its securities on the Stock Exchange of Thailand for one day on January 12, 2006. It is, therefore, hereby notified for further consideration.
